Effective September 9, 2026 ยท Version 1.0
1. Scope
This policy describes what Keep (keep-posting.com) collects from writers and readers, why, how long it is kept, and how to have it removed. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
2. Information About Writers
To operate your account Keep stores:
- your email address, which is also the reply address on mail sent through the Relay;
- the name you publish under, if you set one;
- your sign-in and passkey credentials;
- the web domain and sending domain of your Ship;
- the ownership verification token and URL used for imports, and a log of each import.
3. Information About Readers
- When a reader subscribes to a writer through the Relay, Keep stores the email address, the time the subscription was requested, the time it was confirmed, the IP address and browser that confirmed, and the confirmation token used. For imported addresses, Keep also stores the original subscription date reported by the source platform.
- This record exists to demonstrate that the reader asked to receive the writer's posts.
- Keep also records, per address, whether a message bounced, was reported as spam, or was unsubscribed.
4. Roles
- The writer is the controller of their List. Keep processes it on the writer's behalf.
- Keep is the sender of record for every message the Relay transmits and handles unsubscribes, bounces, and complaints itself.
- Keep does not share, merge, or expose a List to any other writer, and does not sell or rent any information.
5. Delivery and Sub-processors
- Your Ship submits each post to the Relay, which sends it through Amazon Web Services (Simple Email Service, us-east-1). AWS processes recipient addresses and message content for delivery and reports bounces and complaints back to Keep.
- Ships are hosted on infrastructure provided by a hosting partner, which processes the data stored on your Ship.
- Keep intends to offer writers the option to connect an email provider of their own in place of the Relay. Mail sent that way is processed by that provider under its own policy.
6. Retention
- Consent Records are retained for the life of the subscription and for three years after it ends.
- Unconfirmed subscription requests are deleted after 72 hours (form) or 14 days (import).
- Addresses that unsubscribed, bounced, or complained are retained on a suppression list so they are never emailed again.
- Writer account data is retained until the account is closed.
7. Your Rights
- Readers may unsubscribe from any writer at any time using the link in every message. No login is required and the change is immediate.
- Readers may request deletion of their information by writing to support@keep-posting.com. Keep honors such requests across all writers within 30 days, retaining the address only on the suppression list.
- Writers may export their posts, List, and Consent Records at any time, and may close their account.
- Where applicable law grants additional rights of access, correction, or portability, Keep will honor them on request.
8. Cookies and Tracking
Keep sets only the cookies required to keep you signed in. Keep does not use tracking pixels, analytics cookies, or third-party trackers in its emails or on its website.
9. Security
Credentials are stored as hashes or public keys. Confirmation and unsubscribe links are signed and single-use. Access to writer data is limited to what operating the Service requires.
10. Changes
Keep may revise this policy. Material changes will be announced by email to writers at least 14 days before they take effect.
